We had just too many great pictures to fit into our review of New York Comic Con 2017, so we decided to publish a separate article just for the great pics. New York Comic Con 2017 was the first New York Comic Con that I ever attended. While the sheer magnitude of the event was mind blowing, it was the fan participation that really knocked me out. The fans that attended New York Comic Con 2017 were not just New Yorkers, they were fans from all around the world. Many of the fans that traveled to New York for the comic con seemed to spend at least a week in town. I spoke with people from Germany, France and even Australia. Of course, there were thousands of people from all over the United States. Attending a comic con can become an addiction. I found myself searching the web for the location of the next comic con with the sheer intentions of buying a train or plane ticket and attending.

When I had told my friends that I was attending New York Comic Con, many of them asked if I was dressing up in a costume. I really did not give it much thought. However, what I witnessed on Sunday October 8th 2017 at the Jacobs Javits Convention Center on the West side of Manhattan was a convention full of fans not only dressed up in the most outrageous costumes, but also having the time of their lives. Fans dressed to the max in iconic comic book heroes and villains costumes. They were dressed as characters from films of all science fiction and action adventure genres. What was most impressive was the fact that many fans designed their own original costumes.

The interactions between the fans dressed up was very entertaining. All inhibitions for those dressed up were left at the green entrance gate. The fans loved to talk about their costumes, and above all, for the most part, everyone in costume was very happy to strike a pose. So, here are some more great pictures that did not get published in our earlier complete review of the show entitled “New York Comic Con 2017 Was Wonderfully Overwhelming! Here’s Why!” If you haven’t read that review, make sure to take a look at it because we think you will enjoy it.
